One of the most creative, thoughtful, and regenerative gift ideas I’ve heard about in a long time is The Mother Letter Project , in which a husband, having grown a bit disgusted with the whole “gizmo and gadget- oriented” holiday gift-giving process, is creating a collection of letters from other Mothers for his wife to give her as a gift. This is a remarkable process, and I urge you to check it out. If you submit a letter, you can receive a copy of the compilation of letters, which promises to be pretty incredible. If I had a hat, I’d take it off to this caring and appreciative Dad and Hubby for getting this ball rolling.
